چکیده
This study was performed to evaluate the culture potentiality and growth performance of Spirulina (Spirulina platensis) in supernatant three different concentrations digested rotten guava (DRG) Kosaric Medium (KM) as control. The consisted guavas, such 20 (T1), 40 (T2) 60 (T3) were allowed digest under aeration. After 34 days, replications showed reddish white-colored screened taken a 2.0 L conical flask. Then, inoculated grow these media (DRGM) with addition micronutrients KM 9.0 g/L NaHCO3 for 14 days. cell weight attained at maximum 12.43±0.10 mg/L (dry wt. basis) KM, followed by 0.818 ± 0.002, 0.815 0.0014 0.809± 0.0011 60, 40% DRGM, respectively on 10th day culture. A similar trend also observed case specific rates (based chlorophyll a) total biomass (mg/L) Spirulina. Cell had highly significant (P<0.01) correlation content (r= 0.746) 0.742) results that grown 60% DRGM significantly higher than 20% (T1) (T2).

Effects of Spirulina platensis on growth performance of weanling pigs
Three experiments were conducted to evaluate the in ̄uence of an algae derived feed additive, Spirulina platensis (SP), on weanling pig performance. In all experiments, pigs were blocked by weight and allotted to one of four (experiments 1 and 3) or six (Experiment 2) dietary treatments. Standard diets and feeding regimens were implemented in all three experiments and SP replaced soybean meal on...

In present study, two trials had been conducted to evaluate the effects of Spirulina platensis (SP) on growth performance, carcass characteristics, egg quantity and quality traits, and immunity response of Japanese quails. In trial 1, a total number of 180 one-day-old Japanese quails were randomly assigned into 6 groups, 3 replicates with 10 quail chicks per replicate. Experimental die...
متن کاملMineral profile of edible algae Spirulina platensis
Spirulina platensis, is a photosynthetic, filamentous, spiral-shaped, multicellular and bluegreen micro alga. As it contains chlorophyll a, like higher plants, botanists classify it as a micro alga belonging to Cyanophyceae class; but according to bacteriologists it is a bacterium due to its prokaryotic structure. Mexicans (Aztecs) started using this microorganism as human food. Its chemical co...

A laboratory experiment was conducted to assess the bioaccumulation of microelements Fe 2+, Cu 2+, Zn 2+ and their effects on the growth and pigment contents of Spirulina platensis in Zarrouk’s media. The mentioned metals concentrations enhanced separately to tenfold of the Zarrouk’s content. The results indicated no differences in the dry weights for the different medias (p>0.05). A rapid incr...
متن کاملAmmonia Removal from Digested Sludge Supernatant
Wastewater Treatment Plants that make use of anaerobic processes for sludge digestion often have problems with phosphates and ammonia nitrogen “overloads” returned to biological sewage treatment process together with effluents coming from dewatering of digestion sludge. The high concentrations of phosphates and ammonium nitrogen in supernatant constitute 10 – 20 % of entire load brought to biol...
